This project expands on the open-air market typology, merging a farmer’s market with neighborhood retail and a public plaza. The site is located next to an elevated BART track, which provides high visibility to commuters and passengers. The result is a place that provides a dynamic identity to the predominantly Latino neighborhood nearby.
