Project Description:
This urban infill housing project sits on a lot that also contains a Victorian duplex from the early 1900s. The architecture of the new 3-unit tower expresses a contrast to the existing building. This creates a strong dynamic between the two buildings, old and new. The entry staircase to the new building helps erode the envelope of the building, allowing light and air to flow throughout the space.
