This single-family dwelling sits between a commercial artery and a residential neighborhood. Through sensitive scale and proportion, the house serves as a transition between the two zones. A large, cantilevered roof plane floats above the building, spanning between the main house and the secondary unit at the back of the lot. The result is a courtyard space nestled between the two buildings, framing views of the sky above.
