John Skrivanich

As CFO, Administrative Director and Technical Director of Lowney Architecture, John Skrivanich is committed to the office environment, overall workplace health, and to the betterment of the Oakland community.

John joined Lowney in 2004, bringing with him a proven commitment to technical excellence since 1987 in design and documentation of high-rise offices, corporate campuses, retail facilities, restaurants, and houses; plus hands-on experience growing an architectural business.

Born and raised in the East Bay, John lives and works in Oakland and has an intimate understanding of the wide variety of lifestyles and landscapes that make up the Bay Area.

John enjoys traveling the Bay Area back roads, enjoying and learning about California's landscapes and historic architecture and landmarks. He is an avid softball enthusiast and infielder on several local teams; and a humble home chef.

As an Associate at Gensler, John designed and detailed office buildings for clients such as GAP, Seibel Systems and Oracle; and retail facilities for Apple, Neiman Marcus and Boucheron, among others. As a designer and Job Captain at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and HOK he worked on interior design projects for Kaiser Permanente, Sheraton Palace, and Western Digital; and corporate headquarters buildings for Pacific Bell, AMD and VISA Corporation.

John received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.
