As CFO, Administrative Director
and Technical Director of Lowney Architecture, John Skrivanich
is committed to the office environment, overall workplace health,
and to the betterment of the Oakland community.
John joined Lowney in 2004,
bringing with him a proven commitment to technical excellence
since 1987 in design and documentation
of high-rise offices, corporate campuses, retail facilities, restaurants,
and houses; plus hands-on experience growing an architectural
business.
Born and raised in the East
Bay, John lives and works in Oakland and has an intimate understanding
of the wide variety of lifestyles and landscapes that make up
the Bay Area.
John enjoys traveling the
Bay Area back roads, enjoying and learning about California's
landscapes and historic architecture and landmarks. He is an avid
softball enthusiast and infielder on several local teams; and
a humble home chef.
As an Associate at Gensler,
John designed and detailed office buildings for clients such as
GAP, Seibel Systems and Oracle; and retail facilities for Apple,
Neiman Marcus and Boucheron, among others. As a designer and Job
Captain at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and HOK he worked on interior
design projects for Kaiser Permanente, Sheraton Palace, and Western
Digital; and corporate headquarters buildings for Pacific Bell,
AMD and VISA Corporation.
John received his Bachelor
of Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley.
